Aikya is an invitation-only community for South Asian adults in the United States who are 18 years or older and are looking to build a meaningful, long-term relationship.

Access requires a referral from a verified Setu — a trusted community connector. You may not create an account without this referral.

By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is truthful and accurate.

Aikya is for people who are serious about finding a partner — not casual browsing, not curiosity. Using the platform for solicitation, advertising, harassment, or misrepresentation is prohibited.

You agree not to contact any family outside the platform without their explicit consent.

You agree not to share another family's profile information, photos, or contact details without their permission.

You agree not to use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or access the platform in bulk.

You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and up to date.

Providing false information — including age, education, occupation, or marital status — may result in immediate account removal.

Aikya reserves the right to verify information and remove profiles that violate our community standards.

Aikya does not use caste, sub-caste, or community background as a matching criterion — ever. These fields are optional context that families may choose to share, but they are never used to filter or rank introductions.

Aikya does not discriminate on the basis of caste, race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Any use of the platform to discriminate against, harass, or exclude members based on community background is grounds for immediate removal.

All communication on Aikya must be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language toward any community member is grounds for immediate removal.

If you experience inappropriate behavior, please report it to us at hello@joinaikya.com.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

Aikya may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

Aikya is a platform that facilitates introductions between families. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including successful matches.

We are not responsible for the actions of any member of the community outside of the platform.

Use good judgment and appropriate caution when meeting anyone for the first time.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Aikya after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
